Most practices are still stuck in the folder maze

Most architecture practices already pay for Microsoft 365. The drawings, standards, and office templates still live in nested folders that only a few people can navigate. New starters ask on Teams. Project folders fork. The intranet, if it exists, is a page nobody opens.

That is not a licence problem. It is a structure problem.

A SharePoint intranet is the company hub on the tenant you already have: news, standards, apps, and a library model with metadata instead of tribal knowledge. It is not another file dump with a prettier homepage.

What changes when the hub is live

People stop hunting when the path is obvious. A standard sits next to the app that uses it. Project sites follow one pattern. Permissions match the office rather than a leftover inheritance chain.
